All-Star Performance
The Giants two All-Star selections, Tim Lincecum and Brian Wilson, on the last day before the All-Star break teamed up to defeat the team with the best record in baseball, the Cubs. Lincecum threw eight strong innings and Wilson saved it in the ninth. They showed why they're going to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday.

Hey Steve,
Did you hear that Bobby Murcer died? He's remembered as a Yankee of course, but I also remember him as a Giant. He was certainly a great ball player and apparently a nice man to be around as well.
Yes, I did, but wasn't able to catch the details. It will certainly be part of Tuesday's ceremony at the All-Star game. I have his baseball card, too.
